I do love me some Green Lantern!
Very ominous, really makes me wanna read it!
I do think it could have benefited from red splash from the background, like the yellow bouncing up onto Green Lantern's inner thigh. Maybe if the pale blue reflections on the black parts of there suits were a little warmer.

DC (the editor) likes the lead characters to be in their main colors. Also, I like the separation the blue gives against the red. It really helps the silhouette read.

That it does. It seems an unspoken rule that a reflection of shiny leather like black fabric is a bit blue by default.

HA!, at least for the DC folk. The only way I could get the black to have red highlights is to do the same with the green. One must go with the other. In my first version I had more blue in them that matched the bodies below to have a red/blue color contrast. But they wanted it to be Green and in natural light.
